Dom and Aytun in Suzhou

Shenzhen - 20 years there was nothing there but a little fishing village. Now it's a massive city of millions that's growing bigger and brasher by the hour. It's the closest mainland city to Hong Kong and people flow back and forth - through passport checks etc of course. Not particularly notable to be honest, but we did enjoy the nice weather and some nice Indian meals. We had New Year in a bar there and then headed off to Hong Kong.

Well, tell him to get off it then...

Heading out for New Year's Eve

We went to a place 'Windows of the World' which had scale models of landmarks and buildings from all over the world. It was very well done and it was great to be out in the sun. Most of the locals were in trousers and jackets but we took advantage of being able to wear shorts and t-shirts
